Sarah Lewis, daughter of John Lewis and Sarah Mead, was baptized at Tenterden, Kent, England, March 3, 1632-3. She sailed with her parents to New England in 1635. No further record (with a caveat about a Sarah Lewis baptized in Boston on 05 January 1650/1, "daughter to Sister Lewis a member of Scituate church." Anderson notes that this is not likely the same child as there would be no reason to baptize her again; and a gap of nearly 20 years with no other recorded child for this couple would be odd.)[1]
