SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY DEED BOOK O page 486 Jany. 20, 1796. Augustine Lewis and Sarah, his wife, of Spots. Co.; Wm. Phillips and Ann, his wife, of Hanover Co. to Jonathan Clark of Spots. Co. £120 curr. Their right, title and interest in a tract of 310 a. in Spots. Co., devised by Jno. Zachary Lewis, decd., to his wife, Elizabeth, during her lifetime, then to his four children, the sd. Augustine, the sd. Ann (who hath since intermarried with the sd. Wm. Phillips), Betsy Lewis and John Zachary Lewis, and the sd. Elizabeth Lewis, the relict, having since departed this life, etc., etc. Witnesses, Joseph Brock, Thomas Towles, Bevy. Stubblefield, Benj. Waller, Edmund Clarke. Septr. 6, 1796

The bond is now in the hands of George Phillips as executor or administor of William Phillips, dec'd - dated Aug 1807
