Howard Merton Lloyd was born on 1 August 1883 in Easthampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts, United States, son of Willett H Lloyd (1853–1930) and Laura Irene Lyman (1854–1934).
Howard (25) married Lena Abbie Porter (20) (born on 28 September 1887 in Huntington, Hampshire) on 5 August 1908 in Easthampton. Their known daughter was Ethel Helen Lloyd (23 February 1909 – 10 November 1994).
Howard died on 9 January 1917 in Easthampton, aged 33.
