Minerva was born in 1844. She is the daughter of Aaron Logsdon and Lucinda Dunbar. Minerva married Franklin W. Simmons on 01 May 1862 in Brown, Illinois. They have 5 children: Sally, Mary Elizabeth, George, Francis, Hiram. Minerva passed away in 1908. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Williston, Williams County, North Dakota
