Frances was born in 1809. She married Abraham Grove. [1] In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Augusta county, Virginia. [2] Frances died in 1888. [3]

One record identifies Frances's full name as Sarah Frances Long. However that record is a death record for her son Martin which was created decades after Frances's birth and the information may have been given by someone who never knew her. [4]
