Frederick Knapman Lovering was born about February 1877 in Clifton, Gloucestershire, England. He was the sixth child of Philip Lovering and Ann Rebecca Knapman.[1]
On 28 Jun 1877, Frederick, his parents and siblings left Plymouth, England on the Nineveh bound for Australia. Frederick passed away on 17 Jul 1877 at sea at the age of 5 months. The rest of his family continued on their voyage arriving in Sydney, New South Wales on 23 September 1877.[2][3]
