Anna Catherine (Lutes) Steeves was born on 17 Jan 1749 in Kruezwertheim, Bavaria, daughter of Georg Michael Lutz (~1723 - ~1794) and Anna Walpurgis (Wießler) Lutz (~1730 - ~1792).

Her siblings were:

  1. Peter Michael Lutz Sr (<1751 - 1825)
  2. Anna Margretha (Lutz) Steeves (1755 - 1828)
  3. Johannes Lutz (1756 - 1815)

Anna Catherine married Johann Jacob Steeves , son of Johann Heinrich Stieff and Regina Stahlecker, in 1772. Their children were:

  1. John Steeves (1773 - 1858)
  2. Leonard Steeves (~1775 - 1833)
  3. Nancy Steeves (1777 - <1871)
  4. Rachel (Steeves) McFarlane (~1780 - ~1801)
  5. William B Steeves (1781 - 1848)
