DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ralph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ralph:

I have been looking at Ralph MaGee the last few days and this is some verified information I have discovered through probate files, marriage records and land transactions. I can send this information to whoever needs it. I know Ralph MaGee had a daughter Rebecca MaGee who married John Roberts. John Roberts died about 1816 in Madison County, Kentucky and Ralph MaGee was named as a guardian for all the minor children of John Roberts who were his grandchildren. These children named in the probate record were William, James, Isham, Ralph, Susanah, John Jr., Polly Berry and Mildred. All the children were under 14 with the exception of James who was older than 14 but younger than 21. Rebecca MaGee Roberts eventually ended up in Linn County, Missouri and married again to a man by the name of John Guyer. This information is all in a land record from Madison County. Some of Ralph MaGee's other children are also mentioned in this record. Almost all of these Roberts children ended up in Missouri in surrounding counties from their mother. I believe a few Magees ended up in Missouri too. I'm really interested in the son James Roberts and I believe he is my GGG Grandfather who was born in Kentucky about 1800 and died in Kansas about 1855. He married my GGG Grandmother Ellen (Gragg) Cowen in Howard County, Missouri in 1848 and they were in the 1850 census there with their blended family. They both had been married before and had other children. I'm showing many DNA matches to descendants of this Ralph MaGee and the other Roberts children. I really believe John and Rebecca MaGee Roberts are my 4th Great Grandparents and Ralph and Mary Magee are my 5th Great Grandparents. I'm still trying to verify all the DNA connection. I would gladly discuss and share this information with anyone.

Thanks Doug,

I'll see what I can come up with.

Magee-1695 and MaGee-3327 appear to represent the same person because: same names, dates, locations. I'm not sure which spelling of Magee is correct so I'll leave with you to choose the correct one. Thanks.

Always merge newer profile into the older one. Spelling of last name appears to be Magee. Date of death is unknown but after 1840,.
