Biography

Donald McIsaac (69) is on the 1881 census with wife Mary (60) and their children; Mary (30), Ann (28), Flory (24), Penny (22), Arch'd (20) and Hugh (16).^[1] JL MacDougall states that by 1922 "His son Archy is on the old homestead. All the rest, except Sarah (Mrs. McNeil) have gone to their eternal reward."^[2]

Archibald MacIsaac (89) passed on 22 Dec 1946 at SW Margaree due to senility.^[3] His parents are listed as Donald MacIsaac and Mary MacPherson and his wife is Christena. A daughter Mrs. Archy Kennedy made the return.
