Biography

Children: Cornelis (1680), Antje (1680).

There was an IJf Jansz Madderoom who sold an acre of “seedland” (zaadland) to Jan Jans Keyser, miller in Koedijk in 1676. This would most likely have been a son of Jan Madderoom who seems to have lived in Broek op Langedijk.

IJf Jansz Madderom also appears in two books on the histories of Zuid-Scharwoude and Broek op Langedijk. We don't have access to these books online, only the indexes. He seems to appear quite early in the book, and one can also guess from this who some of his children might have been. Thus the list above.
