Ruth Maddocks, daughter of John Maddocks and his wife Ruth Church, a descendant of Pilgrim Richard Warren, was born at Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 13 February 1690/1.[1][2]
Ruth Maddockes and Joseph Chadwick, both of Watertown, were married there on 13 September 1710 by Jonas Bond, J.P.[3][4][2] Joseph was the son of John and Sarah Chadwick, born at Watertown on 28 November 1685. Joseph died at Western (later Warren, Mass.) before 31 October 1765 when his estate was administered by his son Henry.[5]
Ruth died sometime after 20 March 1732 when she and her husband, then of Malden, were named in an indenture drawn up by her brother John Maddock of Watertown, and after her son Nathan was born in 1734.[6]
