Thomas Ambrose Malott married Della Ray Williams on 28 July 1905 in Greene County, Arkansas.[1] Thomas was 21 and Della was 16 years old. In 1910[2] the couple are living in Cache Township, Arkansas. They are renting a house on a farm where Thomas is a farm laborer. Della has given birth to a boy and a girl:

Minie L. (2) - born 1908 in Arkansas
Mariah, Thomas' mother, is also living with them. She is now 61 years old.
On the census of 1920[3] Thomas is listed as a widower. Della died sometime after the birth of a son they named Clarence who was born in 1913. The couple also had a second daughter. Her name is Violet and she was born in 1911. Both children were born in Arkansas. The family is now living in Neal Township, Arkansas and Thomas is farming for himself instead of working for others. (The census was taken in February of 1920. Mariah is not listed as living with the family and she will die in July of that year.)
Thomas married Belva Martin on 2 October 1920. Thomas is 36 (with 4 children) and Belva is 20 years old.[4] They were married in Mississippi County, Arkansas. Minnie got married in 1925 at the age of 18.[5] Violet got married in 1926 at the age of 16.[6]
Thomas married Videa K. Whitaker on 21 December 1926. Thomas is now 42 and Videa is 19 years old. They were married in Woodruff County, Arkansas. In 1930[7] the family is living in Watensaw, Arkansas on a farm. They are renting a house and Thomas is supporting the family by fishing. The couple have 2 children:
In 1940[9] the family is living in Ozark, Arkansas. Thomas (55) is working as a common laborer for the railroad under a government program. Videa (33) is cutting material for a WPA sewing project. Thomas Ambrose (10) has completed the 4th grade. Mabel Clara (10) has completed the 3rd grade. Clarence (27) is married to Edna (28) and they are lodging with Frank Hill and his family in Union Township, Arkansas. [10]
By 1950[11] Thomas and Videa have moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico. Thomas is 65 and the census records that he is unable to work. Videa is 43 and doing laundry in a commercial facility. She worked 40 hours the week before the census.
Videa died in 1957.[12] She was 57 years old.
Thomas died in 1963.[13] He was 78 years old.
