African merchant (b. Ning-Po, China, c. 1858; d. Letchworth, Herts., 13 Jan 1912), son of Dr William Parker, medical missionary, Chinese Evangelical Society, of Ning-Po, Zhejiang, China (b. Glasgow, Sept 1824; d. NingPo, 2 Feb 1863), by 1st wife Mary WILLIAMSON (d. Ning-Po, 26 Aug 1859); she d. Letchworth, Herts., 28 Jun 1931 (will pr. London, 19 Sept), having had issue, one son.
