Biography
Pleasant Manes was born on September 22, 1850 in Miller County, Missouri[1] to Lewis Manes and Mary Connor.
Pleasant married Sophia Burkheart in 1874 according to the 1900 census.[2]
According to the 1900 census, Pleasant lived with Sophia and their children, James and Lily, in Jefferson City, Missouri.[2]
Pleasant died on March 1, 1946 in Jefferson City, Missouri.[1]
He is buried in the Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.[3]
