Marian Marks, third daughter of Morris and Gertrude Marks, was born in Detroit in December 1929.[1] Her father was born in Pennsylvania to a Polish immigrant father and a Lithuanian (Russia) immigrant mother. Her mother was a Lithuanian (Russia) immigrant, arriving in in the United States in 1905. Marian was one of six children, five girls (Essie, Shirley, Marian, Ruth, and Judith) and one boy (Daniel) born in 1940. Interestingly, the 1940 census lists her father's occupation as a lawyer in private practice while the 1930 census lists him as a physician in general practice.[2]
She married Marvin George Fuller, whose parents were also Polish immigrants, at the age of 18 in on February 4, 1948 in Ann Arbor, Michigan where Marvin was a student.[3] They had four children together. Marion died in 1991.
