Biography
Francis Marion Marshall was born on April 17, 1847 in Mountain, Scott, Arkansas. He is the third child of John Marshall and Susan Crenshaw.
Francis and his family moved to Texas by 1860 and settled in Collin County. Francis had five brothers: William Perry, Peter Green, Andrew Jackson, John Henry and Benjamin Parks.
On April 27, 1868, Francis married Laura Ann Witt in Collin County, Texas. Francis and Laura had five children: Alice, John, Anna, Arthur and Marion.
Francis and Laura spent the rest of their life in Collin County. Francis is buried at Rowlett Creek Cemetery.
