Eleanor Mary Bromley Martin was born on 14 November 1869, at Powick, Worcestershire, England. She was the daughter of George Edward Martin (1829-1905) and Maria Henrietta Cherry (1839-1912).
Eleanor married Robert Martin Holland-Martin (1872-1944) on 4 November 1897, at London, England.[1] They had six sons.
