Biography

Nancy Martin was born on December 31, 1828^[1] in Georgia^[2]to Green Martin and Irene Thaxton.

On December 21, 1843, Nancy married George Letson in Butts County, Georgia.^[3]

According to the 1860 census, Nancy lived with George and their children, Robert, Henry, Mack, Caroline, James, John, and Nancy in Chambers County, Alabama.^[2]

Nancy died on September 14, 1890. She is buried in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery to Courtland, Alabama.^[1][4]
