Biography

Ruby (Mason) Williams was born in Appalachia, in West Virginia.

Ruby was born 16 May 1914 in Berea, Ritchie County, West Virginia.[1] She was the daughter of Bruce Lee Mason and Adaline Margaret Leaseburg.

She married first, as his second wife, Winfield Scott Watson on 1 February 1941 in Pullman, Ritchie County, in a ceremony performed by E. W. Goff, Minister of the Gospel.[2] They divorced on 5 February 1955 in Parkersburg, Wood County.[3]

She married second, as his second wife, Harvey Earl Williams on 16 April 1955 in Gallipolis, Gallia County, Ohio, in a ceremony performed by Paul M. Niawander, Minister.[4]

Ruby died on 28 April 1999 in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia,[5] and she is buried in Ritchie County in the Masonic Cemetery in Ellenboro.[6]
