Note NI17650Named Mary Maggie Morgan on her death certificate #11899, and married. Cause of death listed as pelvic cellulitis and peronitis preprual. She was buried at Evergreen Cemetery on 5-11-1938. Not sure what the cause of death means but she apparently died shortly after giving birth.

Her obituary was in The Courier-Journal, Tuesday, 5-10-1938;
MRS. MARY MAGGIE MORGAN, 32, of 651 Bergman, died at 5 A.M. Monday at the City Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Clay Morgan; three daughters, Mary Agnes Morgan, Mary Louise Morgan and Clara Mae Morgan; two sons, Charles W. Morgan and Kenneth E. Morgan; her mother, Mrs. Mary E. (L). Mattingly; four brothers, Ernest (Emmett) Mattingly, Leslie Mattingly, Roy Mattingly and Lonnie Mattingly; and five sisters, Mrs. Clare Mattingly, Mrs. Alice Devore, Mrs. Frances Hellmann, Mrs. Louella Meyer and Mrs. Elizabeth Drury.

MORGAN - Monday, May 9, 1938, at 5 A.M. Mary Maggie Morgan (nee Mattingly), age 32 years, beloved wife of Clay Morgan.
