Biography
Lucy was born about 1780. He surname at birth is variously given as McAdams, Cochran and unknown. Her place of birth may have been South Carolina, Virginia, or other. Lucy married William Turner in about 1798. She was widowed and in 1840 is enumerated on the federal census as head of household in Jefferson County, Alabama. [1]
