Tennessee D. McGuire was born in 1817 in Jefferson County, Tennessee. He was the son of Cornelius McGuire and Miriam Leath.
We know that Tennessee married Elizabeth MNU, around 1845 but her maiden name remains unknown. She was probably born c1823 (per 1860 Census).
Tennessee died in 1881, probably in Desoto County, MS, but was buried in Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Tate Co., MS. He shares a tombstone with Elizabeth.
