Biography

Pleasant Henderson McGuire was born about 1823. He was the son of Cornelius McGuire and Miriam Leath.

He received some land as part of his grandfather's (Ebenezer Leeth) will in 1836.

He moved to Walker County, Texas before 1850. He married Amanda Dean (date and location unknown) and served in Co. H of the 20th Texas Infantry during the Civil War (CSA).

He died in 1893 in Coryell Co., TX.
