Biography

Elijah McGuire was born in 1808 in Tazewell County, Virginia. He was the son of William McGuire and Margaret Brown - grandson of James Brown and Esther Goff.

Elijah married Elizabeth Claypool on January 5, 1832 in Tazewell County, Virginia.
