Biography
William Floyd McGuire was born in 1840. He was the son of Elijah McGuire and Elizabeth Claypool.
William probably never married as he died single. His death certificate lists "insanity" as a contributing factor to his death but no other details are available.
He passed away in 1912 at the Western State Hospital in Staunton but was buried in Tazewell Co. William had been a resident of the hospital for over 42 years.
