Biography

Robert Galloway McLay was born in 1880 in Maldon, Victoria, Australia, son of Clara Elizabeth (Baker) McLay and James McLay.[1]

He was educated at the University of Melbourne, and when he received a Bachelor of Surgery he was in the same graduating class as Laura Weir.[2]

He was married to Rose Olive Maxwell.[3] Their children were:

Robert died on 7 May 1923 in Wangaratta, Victoria, aged 42 years.[8][9]
