Bernard McNabb was born in Ireland.

Bernard McNabb migrated from Ireland to United States before 1835.

Bernard may have been born about 1800-1815. ^[1]

He arrived in Massachusetts on 12 July 1841 aboard the North America, via St. George, New Brunswick. Ellen followed on the next sailing of the same ship, with children Ann, Owen and Margaret. This was not their first move to Massachusetts however. ^[2]

The family Lowell, Massachusetts as of 1850; Taunton, MA by 1860, and Middleborough, Plymouth, MA in 1865.

He was still alive in 1879 when his wife wrote her will.

Research Notes

There is a Bernard+Ellen in the census Dracut, MA in 1870 but not clear if that might be the same couple or not -- I have seen another Bernard+Ellen 1865 census without children (but 1 grandchild), different to the one linked below that is clearly correct.

There is a death record 25 Jun 1883 age 70 for Bernard McNabb at Lowell MA. Unfortunately no further details are given; so while this is very plausible we could not be certain by any means. ^[3]

Owen McNabb (bef.1790-) could perhaps be his father.
