Biography

Isabella was born about 1854. She was the daughter of Bernard McNabb and Ellen McCourt of Lowell, Massachusetts. ^[1]

On 31 May 1882 at Lowell, she married Frederick Brammer. He was the son of William & Elizabeth. ^{[2] [3]}

As of the 1900 census, her family was boarding with sister Ellen in Manhattan, New York.

She passed away 28 October 1918 at Taunton, Massachusetts, due to cerebral hemorrhage. She had lived in Taunton about 15 years. She was interred at St. Francis Cemetery, Taunton. ^{[4] [5]}

Research Notes

Her birthplace was given as Dracut on the death registration of son Frederick. The family seems to have been living at Lowell in 1855 though. Maybe this was a mistake; the death cert gives Lowell.

Her sister Margaret also marries a Brammer -- although not a brother, apparently.

Possible baptism: 1 Oct 1854 at Lawrence, Essex, MA. There are no other McNabbs to same parents on the same film. ^[6]
