Biography
David McNair was born in 1749 in Oxford, Maryland, his father, Daniel, was 32 and his mother, Hannah, was 28. He married Elizabeth Betsy Allen on November 6, 1786[1], in Augusta, Virginia. They had eleven children in 17 years. He died on September 4, 1805, in Augusta, Virginia, at the age of 56.
