Biography

Various records record his name Oren James McPhetridge. However, his mother, Sarahellen Hopper McPhetridge, was emphatic in a 1964 interview that his name was James Oren McPhetridge but his family called him Oren. Interview by Charline June McPhetridge Rambaud, Sarahellen's great granddaughter and Oren's granddaughter through his son, Lamen Luther McPhetridge.
