Biography
Jane was born in 1872. She is the daughter of George Mearns and Christina Smith.
She attended school in Banff and went onto further study at Wannal ?? College. No results for Wannal College stated on transcription.
Jane was still living in the family home on Boyndie Street at the time of the 1901 Census. Her mother now 62 is widowed and 2 siblings Edward aged 35 and Elizabeth 33 and unmarried are also living there.
