1871 Birth: Elizabeth was the daughter of William Medlock and Martha Green. She was born in Quadring, Lincolnshire, England ^[1]

1871 Baptism: Elizabeth was baptised at Quadring St Margaret's on 14 May 1871. Her parents lived at Quadring North Drove and Dad, William, was a Labourer [1]

1881 Census: Elizabeth, now 9 years old, is staying with her brother Joseph and his wife at Forty Feet Bank, Skirbeck Quarter, Boston, Lincolnshire, England ^[2]

1891 Census: Lizzie is 19 and is her 'Mothers Help' on the farm at North Drove, Quadring, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England

1894 Marriage: Lizzie marries John Henry Parker at Quadring St Margaret's on 15 November 1894. John is a Shoemaker. The fathers are Henry Eno Parker, Inn Keeper, and William Berry Medlock, Contractor. [2] ^[3]

1896 Birth of Son: William Arthur Berry Parker. William was baptised on 18 March 1897 at Quadring St Margaret's. The family were living in Whaplode and John was a Shoe Maker. [3] ^[4]

1898 Birth of Son: John Leonard Parker. John was baptised on 6 August 1899 at Quadring St Margaret's. The family were living in Spalding and John was a Boot Maker. [4] ^[5]

1901 Census: John and Elizabeth are living at 8 Abbey Path, Spalding. John is a Boot Maker. The children at home are: William A. B age 4, who was born in Quadring, and John L. age 2 who was born in Spalding. ^[6]

1911 Census: John and Elizabeth, both now 39, are living in High Street, Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire where John is the Manager of a Boot Shop. The couple have had 4 children, one of whom has died. William Arthur age 14, John Leonard age 11 and Gilbert Eric age 8 are at home. William is an assistant in the Boot Shop. Also in the house is Herbert Parker, a 19 year old lodger. Herbert is a Grocer's Assistant born in Caistor. ^[8]
