Viola May Meister was born December 14, 1910, departed from this life February 21, 1931, at the age of 20 years, one month and 28 days. She leaves a loving father, mother, one sister and five brothers. They are Bertha, Orville, Russell, Wayne, Willard and Eugene. A grandmother, Mrs. Celia Hough, and a host of other relatives survives. She was very devoted to her younger brothers and sister. She showed her great love for them through acts of unselfish service by taking care of them like a mother. She professed religion at Salem four years ago, and her faith never wavered. Although she was young, and life sweet to her, she realized that she must go, and said that she was ready, as she told her loved ones good-bye. Contributed. Viola was a junior in Lockwood high school last year and had many friends among the students, all of who learned of her death with sincere regret. Funeral services were held at Salem church Monday (23rd) afternoon, in charge of Rev. John Clark.
