She married Boyd Calvin Pittman.
Their first child, a daughter, was stillborn, born prematurely in 1948[3]. Donald Reid Pittman was born in 1950[4], Darlene Victoria Pittman followed in 1951[5], and Anthony Bradford Pittman arrived in 1969[6].
She was mentioned in her mother Alice's obituary in 1989[7].
