Biography

Mary Ann was under sixteen in 1796 when her father Andrew wrote his will; he leaves her forty pounds, to be paid after she turns sixteen.^[1]

Mary Ann was named as the wife of Peter Hempy in her mother Barbara's 1810 will.^[2]
