Barbara wrote her will on 11 October 1810, naming herself as the widow of Andrew Michael; it was probated on 2 January 1815. The will names children Jacob Michael, Andrew Michael, Catherine wife of Jonathan Geisberts, and Mary Ann wife of Peter Hempy.[2]
