Abigail Milliken was born at Scarborough, Maine, 29 May 1731, the daughter of Edward Milliken and Abigail Norman,

and sister of Benjamin Milliken, who founded the town of Ellsworth, Maine; died, probably from complications of the birth of her daughter, Abigail Foster, and buried in Scarborough, 23 Jan 1748/49.
She married Col. Benjamin Foster, at Scarborough, 26 Nov 1747, as his first wife. He was baptized at Greenland, New Hampshire, 26 Jun 1726, the son of Benjamin Foster and Wilmot Griffith; died at Machias, Maine, 4 Jul 1818.
Benjamin married (2) at Scarborough, 29 Jan 1749/50, Elizabeth Scott, baptized at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, South Church, 22 Jun 1729, the daughter of Sylvanus Scott and Sarah Moses, and sister of the Frances Scott who married Benjamin's brother, Wooden.
