Ernest Stanley Milliner was born in 1909 in Gympie, Queensland, Australia. He is the son of Ernest Milliner and Isabelle Slater.
He married Winifred Ayre in 1932 in Queensland, with whom he had three children.
Around 1955 he left his wife and family and lived as man and wife with Mary Elizabeth Kearney, with whom he had one child. He married Mary Kearney on 20 Jul 1969, his first wife Winifred having passed away in 1960.
Ernest and Mary moved to Brisbane where he worked as a taxi driver. Hepassed away 23 Nov 1996, aged 87 years. Following cremation, his ashes were interred at the Lowood Cemetery.
He served in the Royal Australian Air Force during the Second World War, in the 11th Repair and Servicing Unit; enlisted 22nd July 1942, discharged 11th January 1946.
