Biography

Sarah, daughter of Aaron Mills and Rebecca Small, was born Dec 17 1826, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Sarah married Thomas Jefferson Hinshaw, Oct 4 1845, Wayne County, Indiana. Thomas, son of Jacob A. Hinshaw and Phoebe Allen, was born 30 Dec 1822, Randolph, North Carolina. To this union were born:

In 1904 Sarah was a member of Mt. Ayr MM, Kansas.

Sarah died Dec 31 1904, Portland, Jay County, Indiana; age 78, and is buried in Green Park Cemetery, Portland, Jay County, Indiana. Sarah died while living with her daughter Elmina in Portland, Indiana.

Sarah's obituary was published in "The American Friend" on January 19, 1905 (page 48). (Still searching for a transcript.)
