Biography

Birth

Sarah Minty was born on March 24, 1827 in Warminster, England to John and Eliza Minty. ^[1]

Marriage

In 1846, Sarah married Jonah Eyers from Westbury. ^[2] Until 1850, Sarah and Jonah lived in Westbury, where Jonah worked as a weaver. ^[3] They had two daughters while they were living there. ^{[4] [5]}

Move to Trowbridge

By 1851, the Eyers' had moved a short distance to Trowbridge. ^[3] The decision may have been motivated by the job opportunities available there for those employed in woollen mills, as Jonah likely was. They had another four children, two sons and two daughters, while they were there. ^{[6] [7] [8] [9]}

Death

Sarah died between 1861 ^[10] and 1871. ^[11]
