At the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household George Missler (age 44, born in Ohio Mar 1856) was occupied as a Farmer and living in a farmhouse he owned with a mortgage in Tully Township Convoy village, Van Wert County, Ohio, with his wife, Eliza A. Missler (age 36, born in Ohio in Sep 1864), their son Edward G. Missler (age 14, born in Ohio in Jun 1886), their daughter, Clara A. Missler (age 14, born in Ohio in Oct 1886), their daughter, Emma E. Missler (age 9, born in Ohio in Jun 1891), their son, William R. Missler (age 7, born in Ohio in Jan 1893), their son, Thomas M. Missler (age 5, born in Ohio in Oct 1895), and their son, Roy E. Missler (age 2, born in Ohio in Oct 1898). George and Eliza Missler were married circa 1884. Both of George Missler's parents were born in Germany; Eliza's father was born in England and her mother in Ohio. Eliza had given birth to six children, six of whom were alive at the time of this census. Nicholas Missler (single head of household, age 49, born in Mar 1856 in Germany) was living next door in a home he owned and employed as a Farmer. [2]

Misler (age 55, born in Ohio) was employed as a Farmer on a General Farm and living in a farmhouse he owned free (with no mortgage) in Tully, Van Wert, Ohio, with his wife, Eliza A. Misler (age 45, born in Ohio), their daughter Alta C. Misler (age 22, born in Ohio), their daughter Emma E. Misler (age 18, born in Ohio), their son William R. Misler (age 17, born in Ohio), their son Thomas M. Misler (age 14, born in Ohio), and their son Roy E. Misler (age 11, born in Ohio). Eliza had given birth to six children, six of whom were alive at the time of the 1910 census. George and Eliza had both been married for the first time 26 years earlier. [3]
On 18 Mar 1913, George A. Missler died at age 57 in Convoy, Van West County, Ohio, USA. George was buried at IOOF Cemetery in Convoy, Van Wert County, Ohio, USA in Plot Section E., Row 12. [4]
