Jacobus Molier was born on 14 Jan 1798 in 's-Gravenhage, Zuid-Holland, Nederland[1], son of Gelijn Gelijnszn Molier (1770 - 1827) and Johanna van Leeuwen (1775 - <1799).

His siblings were:

  3. Pieter Jacobus Molier (1805 - 1835)
  4. Elizabeth Maria (Molier) Hartman (<1811 - 1865)

Jacobus (20) married Maria Sieraal (20) (born in 's Gravenhage, Zuid-Holland on 20 Jan 1798; died in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland on 3 Jan 1842), daughter of Dirk Cirael and Regina Maria Deur, on 11 Mar 1818 in 's-Gravenhage[2]. He was a (kleermaker) tailor. Their children were:

  1. Johanna Molier (~1818 - 1818)
  2. Gelijn Molier (1820 - 1820)
  3. Gelijn Molier (1827 - 1879).

Jacobus died on 21 Nov 1853 in Ommerschans, Overijssel aged 55.[3]
