Biography

Nancy Isabelle Montgomery was the tenth child of David Montgomery and Elizabeth Troutman. She was born 05 Mar 1845 in New Washington, Clark County Indiana. She married Isom H. Blankenship 25 Dec 1861 in Clark County, Indiana. They had six children together. Nancy died 14 Jan 1922 at the Indiana Soldiers Home Tippecanoe County, Indiana. She is buried at the cemetery there. An obituary printed in the Lafayette Journal and Courier stated that her death was caused by pneumonia.
