Reseach Notes

Conflated?

Some of the records in this profile may belong to his father John Anthony Morel: Spratlin-29 18:27, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

  • Aug 10 1774 Committee to prepare resolutions - this is presumably John Morel I, not John Morel II, as John Morel II was only 15. So not likely John Morel II is on the committee to prepare resolutions. John Morel I as major land owner is more likely.
  • July 4, 1775 GA Provincial Congress - Ditto the above logic. John Morel II is still only 16.
