Biography
Marie-Anne was born about 1699. No baptism has been found for her, dob is based on approximate age given at death.[1] She was the daughter of Mathurin Morisset and Elisabeth Coquin.
Marriage
Marie Anne Morisset married Jean Marcot on 6 Apr 1717 in Cap-Santé[2]
- Note: 2 sisters, Marie Anne and Geneviève, marry two brothers, Jean and Jean François respectively, on the same day and place in a double wedding. They have a niece, Marie Thérèse, daughter of their brother Mathurin, who marries another Jean François Marcot in 1747
Marie-Anne passed away on 11 Jan 1767. The funeral was held 12 Jan 1767 in Cap-Santé[3] She is listed as around 70 years old, wife of Jean François Marcot (confusion with her brother-in-law of that name)
