Ann (Morris) Morse was born in Gloucestershire, England.
Ann was born to parents William and Mary Morris. She was baptised in Newnham on November 28th 1777. [1]
In 22 Oct 1807 Ann married George Morse in Lydney. [2]
In 1841 George, Ann and their 5 children aged between 15 and 25 lived in Yorkley. George was a Cordwainer (Shoe Maker). [3]
The following year the family, with 5 children set off from Cardiff and arrived in New York. A number of Forest of Dean families seem to be on board. The Ellaway family were related by marriage and also the Morgans and Davis family. [4]
Ann's date of death is given as 1843 but no records can currently be found to corroborate this.
