Biography
WILLIAM G. R. MOWRY, son of Major Nathaniel, born Dec. 20, 1810 ; married Nov. 30, 1846, Lydla Olney, daughter of Obadiah Olney', and granddaughter of Elisha Olney, of Smithfield. She was born March 20, 1809.
William Gulley Randall Mowry, fourth son of Nathaniel Mowry, 2d (or, as he was more generally known, Major Nathaniel Mowry), and Lydia Mowry, was born at Limerock, Smithfield, Rhode Island on December 20, 1810. He was married to Lydia, daughter of Obadiah Olney, of Smithfield, November 30,1846, by whom he had one daughter, who died in infancy.
Their daughter Anna Frances was born on November 30,1848; and died on September 15, 1849.[1]
