Biography

Birth

• Cornelia was born in Achterbroek on March 19, 1799, as the daughter of Cornelis Muijs and Anna Hogendoorn. She was christened in Berkenwoude on March 25, 1799. Witness was Aagje Hogendoorn.^[1]

Marriage

• She (31), living in Stolwijk, married (1) in Stolwijk on the 23rd of April, 1830, with Willem Koolwijk (62), farmer, living in Stolwijk, son of Arie Koolwijk and Antje de Groot, both deceased, widower of Rijmpje Verwaal. Bride's father deceased, bride's mother, farmer, living in Stolwijk. Witnesses were Arij Koolwijk (33), farmer and son of the groom, Gose Muys (26), living in Stolwijk and brother of the bride, Jan van Erk (42), laborer, living in Stolwijk and brother in law of the bride, and Roelof Gravesteijn^[2] (43), farmer, living in Stolwijk.^[3][4]

• She (38), farmer, living in Stolwijk, widow of Willem Koolwijk, married (2) in Stolwijk on the 8th of April, 1837, with Gijsbartus van der Burg (23), farmer's hand, born and living in Stolwijk on Nov. 9, 1813, son of Jacob van der Burg, deceased (Stolwijk Jun. 13, 1836), and Jacoba de bruijn (54). Groom still serving out his draft. Bride's mother (73), living in Stolwijk. Two children, Jacob van der Burg and Johanna van der Burg, were legitimized through this marriage, both born in Stolwijk on Mar. 20, 1837.^[5][6]

Death

• Cornelia (86), living in Berkenwoude, passed away in Berkenwoude in house no. 63 on the 22nd of July, 1885, wife of Gijsbert van der Burg, previously widow of. Willem Koolwijk.^[7]
