Research Notes
Anderson's father-in-law, George Washington Carter, also migrated to Arkansas sometime in the 1850's.[6] It is likely that Anderson and Louisa followed George and his family to Arkansas. George died in 1875[7] and thereafter, we find that Anderson and Louisa have returned to Tennessee. George was remarried and after he died, Louisa's only familial relations in Arkansas would have been her 1/2 brother George Washington Carter Jr.
