Anna was born in 1892. She is the daughter of Benjamin Murphy and Anna McDermott. The 1900 census shows the family living in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas. Anna's father was working as a clerk for a railroad freight office.[1] Anna died in Washington, D.C. and is buried in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas.
